On April 11, 2021 Nathan Speir performed live ambient piano session on YouTube. This edited recording is from that live session without commentary. Six derivative thoughts from this performance have become the six tracks titled “Nocturnes”. This release goes for sale and streaming August 20th 2021 on several platforms including Nathan’s artist website, Bandcamp artist page, Amazon music, and iTunes.

Nathan Speir is a composer and multi instrumentalist; piano has been his primary instrument since childhood. He has several albums out in solo piano and ambient chamber music and has so far made two electronic music albums. Also released this year in May was an album of ambient chamber music called “Smiles from a Melancholy Man”. He currently lives in Winston Salem, NC where he wears multiple hats producing several creative projects, like this music album, and providing and caring for his family as best he knows how.
